Actor Gregory Gibson Kenney will give a dramatic portrayal of Jackie Robinson’s life, from his childhood in Pasadena, CA, to the Major League doors he helped open for African Americans in 1947. This event is held in conjunction with the traveling exhibition, “Pride and Passion: The African-American Baseball Experience,” available for viewing during regular library hours November 12 through January 15.
