Wyoming will be represented exclusively by Fort Washakie Library, which benefited from a Wyoming Humanities Council Picturing America grant for a field trip to the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole in 2009.

Project director Robin Levin will learn from sixty-nine other librarians who won this honor and will attend high-power educational sessions. Katherine Patterson, award-winning children’s author and 2010 children’s literary ambassador, is the keynote speaker. Other speakers include Queen Noor of Jordan, Queen Latifa, Bobby McFerrin, and Education Secretary Arne Duncan.
